The Getreidegasse is one of the most expensive and elegant streets in Salzburg. In 1997 Salzburg's Old Town was included in UNESCO's world heritage list. "Krimmler Wasserfälle" (70 km/45 miles)
The Krimml waterfalls are part of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern. With an elevation difference of about 400 m, the Krimmler waterfalls are the highest in Europe and drop over a three-step cascade straight to the village of Krimml. |

Kufstein (40 km/25 miles)
The fortress of Kufstein is a jewel in the lower region of Tyrol and a landmark of the district capital Kufstein. The fort was first documented in 1205 and is home of the world's first and biggest open-air organ, the "Heldenorgel" (Heroes' Organ).

Rattenberg and Kramsach (46 km/29 miles)
With only a population of 500, the mediaeval spot Rattenberg is the smallest town in the Tirol region and well known for it's glassblowing tradition. A glasshut was build in 1632 and until today the town is the centre to the Tirolean glass blowers.

Schwaz (65 km/41 miles)
